6 Panel ink on papyrus Chinese art
13 November 2020
Description

Six 29” x 14” panels. Appears to be very old. There are repairs due to some tears in the canvas. Also what appears to be intentional vandalism from possible a indelible marker/“Sharpie” on each panel. I was told that the vandalizim was done by Chinese customs when item was shipped out of China. The blue pigments on the clothing of the depicted hunters and horseback riders has almost no fading.

Provenance

I purchased at an estate sale in the Atlanta, GA area about 6-8 years ago. I was told the the lady who owned it was an aunt of Donald Trump.
