Dear Mario,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. So that I may best assist you, can you please upload a few better images? Images of the stamp to the margin and a detail photo of a corner of each print would be very helpful.

Thank you very much,
Sara

Thank you Mario for these additional images. They are very helpful. These items appear to be 20th century reproduction prints after Japanese scroll paintings, as labeled to the margins.

One print depicts a cropped detail of a circa 1695 scroll painting in the style of the Hishikawa School. The scene depicts courtesans by the riverside. The Hishikawa school (also known as the Moronobu school) was
founded by Hishikawa Moronobu (Japanese; 菱川 師宣; 1618 - 1694). He is known to have popularized the ukiyo-e woodblock prints.

The other print depicts a cropped scene of horses by a stream from a Momoyama School scroll painting. The Momoyama School is related to the Kanō School from the late 15th century to circa 1865.

It is difficult to fully identify which scroll paintings these image are from due to the cropped images and the amount of scroll paintings with very similar depictions. In today's art market, these prints as a collection would be estimates at $50 - 300. This estimate is based on recent auction estimates and results of 20th century reproduction prints of detailed depictions after 16th and 17th scroll paintings.

Thank you and please stay safe and take care.
