It is a beautiful opal and diamond ring. Such vintage jewellery are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
The ring has a lovely design with the three opals surrounded by diamonds, it is both modern and classic at the same time.
The diamonds surrounding the opals are a bit on the tiny side according to the description, and this influences the appraisal of the ring. However the smart design will most certainly attract the attention of both dealers and buyers so it may be the kind of jewellery that would surprise if it came up for auction.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online jewellery auction, where I believe the ring has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the lovely opal and diamond ring. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
